WINES

Derecho 14

When the Derecho rocked Greenbrier County in 2012, it destroyed most of our crop, and caused us to put all of our red wines in one tank.  While our Frontenac Red, Maréchal Foch and Léon Millet grapes were originally blended by fate, we liked the result so much we continue to make it.  We hope you enjoy it too!

Frontenac Gris

Introduced in 2003, Frontenac Gris is  a cold-hardy hybrid.  A pale golden to amber colored wine with aromas of fruits and flowers, it is   refreshingly crisp with hints of citrus and green apple.  The amber color is shown here in a bottle of our Frontenac Gris 2014.

Maréchal Foch

The grape is a cold-hardy and disease resistant French hybrid.  The wine is aromatic and medium-bodied with flavors of dark berries and spicy black cherry.  Finished for two months wth oak spirals.
